A Leader Rooted in Purpose

Dr. Nestor Soriano's journey began with a new birth experience in 2002 and a call to ministry in the mid-2000s. Since then, he has served as a pastor in Wisconsin, Colorado, and Illinois. Each place deepened his conviction that faith and marketplace excellence are not opposing forces, but complementary expressions of God's kingdom.

Today, as Senior Pastor at Hinsdale Filipino American Church in Chicagoland, Dr. Soriano leads with authenticity and vision. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in theology from Andrews University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Christian Apologetics. He is driven by his passion to share the Gospel in an increasingly secular world.

At 43, Dr. Soriano is happily married to Katherine and has two children. He remains highly active, playing basketball regularly at LA Fitness where he builds relationships and practices marketplace discipleship. He also has a background in singing and performing in concerts, maintaining his voice with Echinacea and propolis throat sprays.

He grew up in the city (North Shore Church) and previously lived near the mountains in Johnstown, Colorado. These experiences have shaped his understanding that faith must be lived in real communities, in real workplaces, in real relationships.
